As with all Daniel Wellington watches that apeal to me, this is another example of "less is more." The simplcity complimented by the Roman Numerals is a classic look. One of the features I prefer are watches that do not display the date on the face. In this case, the overall look of the watch diminished the date being displayed. The differentiating factor is the date being so subtly shown in a very small space in the six o'clock position. Had the date been displayed in the more "traditonal" manner (larger) it would have overtaken the traditional look of the watch.

How To Set Day, Date and Time on your Daniel Wellington watch with date display?
Our Classic watch, known for seamlessly blending traditional craftsmanship with modern functionality, just got a well-deserved update. This design features a window that displays the date and the days of the week. The watch shares a similar case design as the previous “Multi-eye” with a circular brushed inside-chamfer between glass and dial, but the Classic Day Display boasts a pristine semi-transparent triangle pattern on the dial, creating a very subtle and elegant shimmering effect.
